A MESSAGE IN SONG TITLES
Because This Is My Father's World, I will Praise Him, Praise Him for all He has done for me. Love Lifted Me from the depths of sin there At The Cross. Because of this, I can go Anywhere With Jesus, for I know He will be there. As I go, Each Day I'll Do A Golden Deed, because I'm In the Gloryland Way! Life is so much Sweeter As The Years Go By for I know that in Paradise Valley, There's A Land That Is Fairer Than Day, a place Where The Soul Never Dies; moreover I know that This World Is Not My Home, so when I Kneel At The Cross, in prayer I can say, my God, How Great Thou Art!
When I think of His Amazing Grace, and what He has done for me, I know that Our God, He Is Alive! For all these reasons, someday My God And I will live together with all those who have gone on before me in the beautiful Ivory Palaces that God has prepared for me. Yes, it was On A Hill Far Away that our blessed Lord, the Rock Of Ages, gave His life that I might have Victory In Jesus. Because of these Precious Memories of His life and His death on the cross, I'm Living By Faith and I will always give Glory To His Name as I sing that wonderful song Whispering Hope.
What a song of praise will be outpoured When He Comes In Glory By And By. Yes, some day I'll Fly Away to my home on high; Just Beyond The Rolling River of life with the redeemed of all ages. But while here on earth, I Will Sing Of My Redeemer until I reach the land where In Heaven They're Singing a wonderful song, a theme that shall Never Grow Old. Because of His loving grace I now can sing It Is Well With My Soul; and I can also sing, All Will Be Well…Just Over In The Gloryland, So, Meet Me There.
The grandest of all great days will be When All Of God's Singers Get Home and there dwell In The Summerland Of Bliss with our Lord for an endless eternity and there experience No Tears In Heaven, yea No Disappointments In Heaven. How Beautiful Heaven Must Be! There He Keeps Me Singing.
Friends, because Swiftly We're Turning life's daily pages, Prepare To Meet Thy God. Trust And Obey, Sing And Be Happy, Pray All The Time, Sing To Me Of Heaven, and Ring Out The Message. Proclaim O What A Savior! And ponder two important questions: Do You Know My Jesus? And What Will You Do With Jesus?
Live that others too will say O I Want To See Him, and look upon His face. There to sing forever of His saving grace; On the streets of glory let me lift my voice; Cares all past, Home at Last, ever to rejoice.
Will you Meet Me There…In the Morning of Joy? --Paul McQuiddy

THANK YOU
Central Church of Christ,
As the Farrall Street Church of Christ works to regain its footing, thanks so much for the kindness and Christian love that you have shown. You are both strength and a great example of Christian duty! In Him. Farrall St. Church of Christ
(Central recently assisted Farrall St. in getting their sign repainted.)
Not enough words to express my thanks for many visits and wonderful food. I know that many prayers are what brought me this far. Please continue to pray for me.
Your sister in Christ, Sue Riedel
Thank you for your visits, phone calls and food during my stay at Deaconess Hospital and at home. I sure miss being at church. I still need your prayers. Roe & Louise Honaker
WOULD YOU LIKE ME TO
AUTOGRAPH IT?
I recently got a big surprise when I looked on the front cover of the new Oklahoma City SBC Yellow Pages. You've already looked at it? Look again and see if you can see what I saw smiling back at me. If you figure it out, you'll know why (tongue-in-cheek) I've offered to autograph the phone book for you! - - WDD
APPRECIATION
I would like to express appreciation to Bob Seikel for teaching my class Sunday morning, August 29, and to Chuck Carter for preaching twice that same Sunday while we were in Littlefield, Texas celebrating the 90th birthday of my dad. - - WDD

Starting Sunday morning, September the 12th, a new Bible class will begin for all college age members and also young adults in their 20's. The class will be taught by Dale Beard and will meet in the upstairs annex in the old high school classroom.
PRAYER CONCERNS
Fay Crosby was admitted to ICU at Unity Health Center Sunday evening where she remained when the Gospel Guide was prepared.
Clydean Decker spent Wednesday evening in Unity North after falling in her home and breaking her ankle.
Lucille Bower's sister, Mickey Briscoe, broke her hip in a fall Friday and had surgery last Saturday. She will probably remain in St. John's Hospital in Tulsa for four or five more days.
Chuck Carter's brother, Billy Don, had emergency quadruple by-pass surgery on Friday in Ft. Smith, AR. He also experienced a collapsed lung and remained in ICU at publication time.
Inez McNutt is very weak at this time but would still appreciate your visits.
It was good seeing Roe and Louise Honaker back in worship Sunday.
Be praying for Sonny Peerson who was recently baptized into Christ at Holdenville. He is the brother of Royce Peerson and had not attended worship before Royce's arrival.
YOUTH NEWS
Bob Stephens
We went to the Shawnee football season opener last Friday evening. It's hard to believe that school just started, and even harder to believe that football has already started too. We have several of our youth playing at the games, and not just football! Jason Perry and Austin Beard are playing football this year. Leslie Gettle, Hannah Farris, Nathan Kelly and Austin Beard are playing in the marching band. Nathan is a Co-Captain this year in the band, great job Nate. We noticed that Emily Farris was helping as a band-aid Friday night as well.
Besides football and band, Courtney Baskin, Sean Parman and Ryan Parman are running cross-country this fall, and Matt and Andy Stephens are preparing for basketball later on in the fall. All these guys and girls are key members of our youth group and work very hard in their extra curricular activities. But the great thing about these kids is that God comes first. Just ask them!
Sunday afternoon at 4:00 we will leave to go to Memorial Road church for worship, then to eat a bite before going to OC for the Acapella concert. The cost is $10 at the door and you'll need some cash for McDonalds. We will be back by 10 p.m.
