SYMPATHY
1917 VESTA JOHNSON 2004
We extend our love and sympathy to the family of Vesta Johnson who passed away on Thursday afternoon, September 16. Services were held Monday morning at 10:00 in Resthaven Funeral Chapel with Robert Perry officiating. Vesta was the aunt of Yuavonda Sperry and the sister-in-law of Wendell Laviness.
Our sympathy is also extended to the family of Cyndi Potter who passed away last Thursday evening. Cyndi was the sister and sister-in-law of Chris and Karen Hilditch. Graveside services were held Tuesday afternoon in the American Legion Cemetery in Madill.
WARMTH FROM THE HEART
The first coat distribution will be held 38 days from now on Saturday, October 30th. At this time, we do not need any more adult coats, blankets, windbreakers or sweaters. We have been extremely blessed with donations in these areas. We are still in need of coats for boys and girls ages 5 to 15. There is a list in the foyer if you wish to sign up to help in any way. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask Ron or Debbie Taffe.
Look forward to seeing you here Sunday!

Norma Cowden
Dear Central Family,
Your kindness and generosity have been very much appreciated. We are so thankful to the elders and their support in working to help our move and transition so much easier. We are also so grateful to the members for the many encouraging letters, cards, and calls we have received. We want to especially thank Bob Stephens for providing us with plenty of good moving boxes, and the teenagers for the very encouraging notes that they wrote to us. You brethren have certainly touched us with your love and concern as we make plans to move to Shawnee.
We have been receiving your bulletin and it seems obvious that the congregation is involved in many good works. Maggie and I are thankful for the opportunity to work with you and we look forward to being with you on a regular basis.
May the Lord our God bless you all.
Yours in Christ, Robert & Maggie Prater
