SYMPATHY
1915 AUBREY MERCER 2005
We extend our loving sympathy to the family of Aubrey Mercer who passed away on Thursday, May 19. Aubrey had been a member of Central for the past several years and was the step-father of Tim McGalliard. Services were held on Tuesday morning in the Central building with Les McGalliard officiating.
NAMES FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION
FOR ADDITIONAL LEADERSHIP
This past Sunday the elders completed their interviews of those whom you have suggested for additional elders and deacons at Central and are ready to submit their names for your consideration. There were some who were suggested who are not able to serve at this time, but the following have agreed to serve along with our present leadership. All of these men are appreciative of your faith and confidence in them.
Of the names you submitted for the eldership, these are the two you're being asked to consider: BOB PERRY and JIM PETTYJOHN. These men are being proposed to serve along with Paul Harris, Steve Kelly, Gene Norton, and Robert Perry.
You are also being asked to consider DALE BEARD, SCOTT PERRY, FRANK ROMBERG, RON TAFFE, and BUDDY TRUESDELL to serve as deacons along with Glendon Combs, Jim Cross, Tracy Gettle, Herman Guin, Tim McGalliard, and Bob Stephens. All names are listed in alphabetical order (not in the order of the number of times their names were suggested.)
Our present elders would like for you to consider the qualifications of these men for the next few days. If you have any scriptural objection to any of these men serving, your objection should be written, signed, and submitted to any of the present elders. Unsigned objections will not be considered. The deadline for any objections will be announced Sunday, May 29. The date for installation should also be announced at that time. Your faithful devotion in assisting the elders in this awesome responsibility is deeply appreciated.

To my Church Family,
Thank you for the last ten months of prayers and support in so many ways. For all the many cards, visits, food, phone calls and transportation when I could not drive. May God be with us all, all the days of our lives.
