SYMPATHY
1918 CHARLES THOMAS 2005
We extend our loving sympathy to all who knew and loved Charles Thomas, especially his three daughters and grandchildren. Charles departed this life on Tuesday afternoon, and funeral services were conducted the following Saturday by Dwyane Dennis. Charles was a faithful member and a loyal friend of the Central congregation. We are indebted to him for many things we continue to enjoy today.
THANK YOU
To our church family,
Thank you for your words of comfort, your special cards, and your prayers. They helped to ease the pain. Our aunt and uncle's deaths were painful. You made them easier to accept.
In Christian Love, Dorothy and Gene [Norton]
We would like to express our appreciation to Buddy Truesdell for finding some much needed furniture for our living room. We also deeply appreciate Bertha Ann Young for making the furniture available. Our thanks also go to John Aylor, Jeffrey Behrnes, and Burl Vanlanding-ham for their help with the delivery.
In Christian love, Harold & Clydean Decker

Youth News
Bob Stephens
Saturday, August 27th at 5 p.m., that's when our 'End of the Summer' cookout is. We'll be meeting at Slide Park (Dean Weigant Park) on the west side of the airport. Bring your lawn chairs, bug spray and something to throw on the grill. Oh yeah, bring your sneakers to play some volleyball, (parents vs. teens!) We will be contacting you this week to perhaps ask you to bring an addition food item or so.
We have a couple of new recruits among the ranks of the teen group this school year. Kayla Miller and Wade Baskin are both 6th graders this year at Shawnee Middle School. We are blessed to have these two in our group now. Kayla is the daughter of Cheryl Miller and the sister of fellow youth group member, Marla. Wade belongs to Kevin and Pam Baskin and is the sister of Courtney.
Continue to pray for all of our teens as they get into the routine of school again. Many of them are staying incredibly busy with extra curricular activities already. From band to cross country to football, they are working hard to keep up. Our prayer for them is that what ever they do, they do to the glory of God.
