We extend our love and sympathy to the family of Fred Phillips who left this life on Sunday, September 24. Services were scheduled for Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock in our building with Dwyane Dennis and Robert Prater officiating. Fred was the husband of Doris and brother-in-law of Paul and Paula Harris.

We express our sympathy to Lola Mullinax and Gene & Dorothy Norton whose sister-in-law, Viva Norton passed away in Utah last week. Funeral services were conducted in Shawnee on Saturday.

We also express our sympathy to the family of Iva Bailey who passed away on Thursday in Norman. Funeral services were held on Monday in Norman. Iva was a Central church secretary, before Jearline Bates. She was an aunt to Virginia Herrera.

GOSPEL MEETING

There will be a gospel meeting October 8 – 11 at the church of Christ on 1^st and Cleveland in Chandler with Jeremie Beller. Brother Beller works with the Wilshire congregation in Oklahoma City and is an adjunct professor at Oklahoma Christian University. The Monday and Tuesday evening services will be at 7. See the foyer bulletin board for topics.

Thank you for all the cards, calls, and prayers during my illness. I love you all.

Steve Lawler, the son-in-law of Anita Jacques is very ill but in stable condition in a Hong Kong hospital.

Wilma Hickman has been discharged from Midwest City Regional Medical Center.

This coming Sunday evening Bible Hour will be starting back once again. This is for all children 2 yrs.-4^th grades. The Bible Hour room is located upstairs in the annex. This is an excellent opportunity for our younger souls to participate in singing, prayer, and lessons specially designed for their age group.
