UKRAINE MISSION REPORT
Central has been supporting work in Ukraine for some time. There are several successful Ukrainian works, and this one is under the oversight of the church in Tahlequah. Brother Ted Watts accompanied by Charles Vanlandingham, will be here Sunday evening to give you more information concerning what you are doing with your contributions to the gospel in that country.
LEON DENNIS IN ADA MEETING
Leon Dennis of Westside in Norman will be preaching in a gospel meeting at Southwest in Ada, October 26 - 29. The Monday through Wednesday evening services will be at 7. The theme will be "The Life & Teachings of Peter." See the bulletin board for additional information.

We extend a special word of congratulations to Monroe Pettyjohn on his 92nd birthday and to Elizabeth Garbe who joins our Century Club on the 21st. We offer all good wishes to Harvey and Carletta Moore who will reach their Golden Wedding Anniversary on the 14th.
We extend our sympathy to Cleta Allen in the loss of her uncle, Wilbur West. Memorial services were conducted at the Wynnewood Church of Christ on Wednesday of last week. The interment was in California.

Just let me say that everyone who turns 75 should have as wonderful a surprise (yes, it really was a surprise - they just didn't mail me a bulletin) birthday party as I had last Saturday. It was perfect! My children did a wonderful job of planning and a huge THANK YOU to all of you who came and/or sent cards.. So many beautiful cards and so worded as to make me feel loved by so many. STANDARD TIME RETURNS
Be sure to set your clocks back one hour before retiring Saturday evening. If you forget, you'll be an hour early for Bible class. Enjoy the extra hour of sleep you lost in the spring.
Don Stevens was dismissed from Unity North on Tuesday and entered Golden Rule Home, #118.
Charles Thomas spent some time at Unity North last week. He was transferred to Golden Rule Home for rehabilitation on Wednesday.
Elva Gill's daughter-in-law, Diane Gill, received major injuries to the vertebrae in her neck in a major auto accident in New Mexico on October 12. Surgery was performed in an Albuquerque hospital on October 17. She and her husband are hoping to return to Shawnee sometime this week.
Betty Martin was scheduled for surgery at Unity North on Wednesday of this week. She expects to return home the next day.
Monroe Pettyjohn was admitted to Unity North Sunday afternoon with pneumonia and infections. He is in room 207.
L.M. Booker's nine-year-old granddaughter, Cheyenne Clark, is a victim of multiple sclerosis and is to have surgery to straighten her leg at University Hospital on Wednesday of this week.

Leadership Training for Christ is an excellent way to learn more about the Word of God and to sharpen your skills in service to the Lord. Parents, encourage your children to participate in this worthwhile program. You'll be glad you did.
