Bulletin for Sunday 11/02/2003

BAPTIZED INTO CHRIST

Robert and Florentine Sauviller were baptized into the Lord's body this past Sunday morning. They have been attending our services for a number of weeks while they visit their daughter in Meeker. Their home is near Antwerp, Belgium, and they will have to return in December. They hope to return here as permanent residents in the near future. We rejoice with them in their decision to make Jesus their Lord. Encourage them at every opportunity. Their present address is 800 S. Koonce, Meeker, ok 74855. Their phone number is 279-4048.

SYMPATHY

We extend our loving sympathy to all the family of Lloyd McBroom. Lloyd was a very involved member of this congregation for a number of years before moving to Redding, California. He departed this life early Thursday morning in Redding, and funeral services were to be at the Alta Mesa Church of Christ in Redding on Monday afternoon. We especially express our sympathy to Irene Coffman in this loss of her brother.

Most of Central's members are acquainted with Margaret Olmstead of Lindsay who is the sister of Paula Harris and Doris Phillips. Margaret's daughter-in-law, Alice Olmstead, was killed in a head-on collision in Texas on her way to church services Sunday evening. She and the driver of the other car were killed instantly. Alice was accompanied by two of her children. Eighteeen-year-old Sarah is in serious condition in Parkland Hospital in Dallas. One of the triplets, McKenzie, has a broken arm and possibly other injuries. She is in Children's Hospital in Dallas. The other two triplets were riding in another car. Funeral services were pending when the Gospel Guide was prepared. We extend a special word of sympathy to Margaret, to her son Mark, and to all the family.

I have a great need for Christ;

I have a great Christ for my need!
