1923 JUANITA LUNSFORD 2003
We express our love and heartfelt sympathy to the family of Juanita Lunsford. Juanita departed this life on Monday, November 17, and funeral services were conducted in our building by Carl Wills and Dwyane Dennis the following Thursday. Juanita was a faithful child of God, loved by all, and will be sorely missed.
1956 DR. GARY WATSON 2003
We also express our loving sympathy to all the family of Gary Glenn Watson. Gary grew up in this congregation and was the son of Glenn and Lorine Watson. His life was taken in a tragic auto accident on Tuesday, November 18. Funeral services were conducted at Gaskill Funeral Chapel by Dwyane Dennis on the following Friday morning. Gary was greatly loved in the community for his healing arts and for his interest in training horses and dogs. Our prayers are especially with Glenn and Lorine at this time.
We were thrilled last week to learn of David Sperry's desire to confess his faults and to be restored to Christ and His body. He requested the congregation to pray in his behalf that this might happen. That prayer was joyfully prayed on Wednesday evening of last week.
To Mom's Church Family here at
Central church of Christ
Words can never express the abundance of love we have felt from the members here during Juanita's stay in the hospital and after her passing. You can never know what it has meant to her family. The visits, cards, flowers and mostly the prayers helped us through this most difficult time. For you to open this building and allow our family to have a "home away from home", we truly thank you. Also, we especially want to thank you for the wonderful meal that was prepared for our family. Mom loved attending this congregation. She was so happy here and loved you all. May God bless you and your good works.

We had two young men in the spotlight last week. Tim Norton won first place in the 100-meter backstroke event at a recent swim meet against Ada and Bing. And Zach Qualls won the spot of first chair French Horn in the All District Honor band. Great job guys!
For the past year and a half the youth group has been reading through the Bible. We will finish up next Sunday with the book of Revelation. We stretched the one year Bible to one and a half but we did it!
