Bulletin for Sunday 05/02/2004

REPORT

Larry Sullivan begins by telling of health concerns among the members. He conducted a four day meeting in Munich in March. There are several studies going on in Chemnitz being conducted by various ones for which your prayers are requested. The congregation hosted a youth retreat this month. They were expecting over 100 young people. Reiner Kallus was to teach a course in their training program on church history. Larry planned to roof their house during this time and complete other repairs to their home after last year's flood. He will be conducting a meeting in Karlsruhe in May. They have tickets to come to the states on July 9 and will be returning on August 16. They will make visits in Oklahoma, Texas, and New Mexico.

Their daughter, Kendra, writes about what it's like to be a student at Oklahoma Christian and to be so far away from home.

Youth News
Bob Stephens

Congratulations to Courtney Baskin. In a track meet last week, Courtney took first place in the one mile event, then her relay team took second place in their two mile relay. Way to go, Courtney!

Last Sunday evening was very productive. The teens went to get a bite to eat and then returned to the youth house to work on our summer schedule. It's a busy one, but a fulfilling one as well. Parents, ask your teens to fill you in on what's going on if they haven't already. But don't worry, it'll all come out in the monthly calendars to come.

After our planning session Sunday night we had a devotional and the singing was excellent, but something was missing. There were holes in our circle. Some teens were missing. We have an awesome youth group at Central. But imagine how much more awesome it could be with you there!

COMING EVENTS:

April 3 - Sunday - AWTG @ Southwest/Ada

Do not be afraid to allow the Holy Spirit to reveal any unforgiveness or bitterness. The longer you hide it, the stronger it will become and the harder your heart will grow. Stay tenderhearted.
