Bulletin for Sunday 09/30/2007
RESTORATION & MEMBERSHIPS
Last Sunday morning, William (Bill) and Billie Horton responded to the Lord’s invitation. In a written statement, they expressed their desire to place membership by saying, “You are such a happy and friendly congregation devoted to the work of the church. We would like to be a part of this.” The Horton’s also stated in their letter, “We have been negligent in our lives as Christians, and request your prayers that we may be forgiven for our transgressions and granted a place in the work of our Lord.” What a courageous response and heartfelt confession. We gladly welcome them to our church family. William and Billie are the parents of Lecia Jones. They live at 9 Fairview Lane, 74804. Phone number is 273-2311.
Doris Quisenberry requested to be considered a member at Central this past Sunday morning. She lives in the Aldridge Apartments, 20 E. 9th, #410, Shawnee, OK 74801. Her phone number is 275-4044. Doris comes to us from the College Hill congregation in Hillsboro, Texas. She came to Shawnee to be closer to family. As her church family, we welcome her and are eager to become well acquainted.
The worship and Centennial opportunities will conclude for most Central members with the time capsule at about 3:30 to 3:45. However there will be a devotional service at five o’clock for those wishing to observe the Lord’s Supper.
Please make a notation in your directory that Harold Carothers has moved to room 512 at Shawnee, Care Center. Martha Chaffin has moved to Wichita, KS with her daughter. Her new address is: % Ann Herd, 1324 May Street, Wichita, KS 67203
Thanks to my Christian friends at Central for visits, cards, and calls. I am doing well and will be on both feet soon. Love to all,Dora Tate

The last tour will leave the building at 3:00 p.m. Sign up for tours will begin Saturday morning the 29th at 11:30 a.m. in the foyer of our building.
