Youth News
Bob Stephens

†††† Several of our kids have excelled these last couple of weeks:

†††† Chad Beardís basketball team took third place in a tournament last weekend in OKC.Their win sealed them a shot at nationals in Denver in April.Chad scored 6 points and had one steal in one of his games last weekend.Chad, you are the man!

†††† Molly Gettleís undefeated Lady Wolves soccer team took care of business this past weekend in the Noble tournament. They whipped everyone in their path and took home the first place trophy.Way to go Miss Molly!

†††† Trey Canard has been moved up to the 450s in Supercross and he is holding his own with the big boys. With a 2nd place finish last week and a 3 spot this week, heís letting the world know who he is.The best part is, heís a Christian and every time heís on that podium, he reminds the world that heís a Christian and gives the glory to God.Good job Trey.

†††† Wade Baskin was in a track meet last Friday and ran his personal best. Run, Wade, run!

†††† Others busy in extracurricular activities are: Lettie Curtis is in Archery and Academic Bowl, Bryce Beal is playing baseball and Kenton McGalliard is tearing up the tennis court for the Wolves.

†††† Speaking of extra activitiesÖOur kids, grades 3-12, have been extra active preparing for LTC in April.Everybodyís been where they needed to be when they needed to be there and thatís very encouraging.Way to go parents!I know when we only get two days off for the weekend, you donít necessarily want to spend one of them carting kids back and forth to the church building, but you are and thatís awesome! Also, a huge thanks to Michael and Jennifer Michener for working so hard with the 3-6 graders.

Remember three things:

1. Itís only a few more weeks!

2. The things our kids are learning now will be with them their entire lives.

3. Galatians 6:9 ďLet us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest ifwe do not give up.Ē
