SYMPATHY
1920
    Millie Riley    2010

We extend our sympathy to the family and friends of Millie Riley. She departed this life this past  Sunday  in McAlester.  She enjoyed being with people, and frequently opened her home to entertain the senior citizens here at Central.  This was greatly appreciated. Her services are scheduled for Friday morning at 10 at Resthaven with Robert Prater officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fairhaven Children’s Home, 3132 N. Fairhaven Loop, Strafford, MO 65757

WARMTH FROM THE HEART

November 13 is the date for our annual coat give away.  We are still in need of clean and mended coats, gloves, hats and blankets.  It will help us immensely if you will let us know of your willingness to help by signing the sheet in the foyer as soon as possible.  You are appreciated!!

THANK YOU

We would like to thank the congregation for the wonderful wedding shower.  Special thanks to the hostesses.  Your thoughtfulness was greatly appreciated.  And to all those who contributed to the group gift, we would like to say thank you!  Thanks,                            Chris & Kelsey Nipper

I would like to thank the congregation for welcoming our family and making us feel like we are a part of your family.  There have been several occasions that I have needed to have someone sit with my daddy for 45 minutes while I go get my grandchildren from school.  Each time that I have called Robert [Prater], in less than 5 minutes he will return my call and let me know who will be coming by.  It may seem like such a small request, yet, for me it is such a help and I appreciate it so.  You are a wonderful group of people and I am so thankful that God led us to you.  A very special thank you to all those that have dropped what they have been doing to come sit with Daddy.  May God bless this congregation richly. In His Love,                                                     Deena Littrell

PRAYER CONCERNS

Charles Wright is recuperating well following surgery last Friday at Integris Baptist Medical Center in ICU on the sixth floor.

Mariella Jacobs had a pacemaker implant last week.  She is doing well and has returned to her son’s home.

Taylor Smith, friend of Hillary Whittington, is in OU Medical Center with a broken neck and torn cartilage resulting from an accident riding a horse.

Kinzee Beal, daughter of Greg & Analisa Beal had tests run last week. They have found that she is not in any immediate danger and her situation will just need to be monitored at this time.  They wish to thank you for your prayers and concern.

GRATITUDE

Be grateful for the kindly friends that walk along your way.

Be grateful for the skies of blue that smile from day to day.

Be grateful for the health you own, the work you find to do.

For round about you there are souls less fortunate than you.

Edgar A. Guest

Hope to see you here Sunday!
