Ron, great job on the web page. I've never really told you what a wonderful job you did on it. A suggestion is that you need new youth group pictures. Those are a little out dated.
Webmaster's note....Nathan is now the chairman of the Youth Web Page Committee. Watch for new content!

Hello and Best Wishes to all the Brothers and Sisters of The Central Church of Christ - the "Home" that raised me. We, my brothers and I grew up in the Central Church of Christ when Brother Kinningham led the Congregation there - John, Rick, Rusty, and Rob - parents, Coy Jack and Lillian Hale. I've retired from 23 years of active military service and now facilitate discussions on Leadership (using James Maxwell's Leadership series and "Purpose Driven Life," by Rick Warren) and facilitate Team Work (using my formal education with my military Team's experience. I stand rather firm on my opinion that Leadership, Team Work, and Fellowship, is Best Guided by Biblical Structure and the Lessons and Examples provided therein. Recently, in early April, 2004, I started a yahoo group discussion that I list as my "primary website." I truly believe that We Veterans who have served to Bring Peace during times of Conflict have much to provide. Upon starting the Veterans for Progress discussion group, I was invited by William Leslie, of South Carolina, to participate in his Open Forum Discussions using http://www.HisChurches.com venue. I truly believe that William's effort will provide People of All Faiths to learn and share, in our separate communities, Christian Faith and Guidance. 1 Peter 4:10 tells us, (NKJ translation), "As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God." Personally, I particularly like the "Catholic Translation" of that guidance, "God has given you each some special abilities; be sure to use them to help each other, passing on to others God's many kinds of blessings," feeling that it "fleshes out" the Leadership and Fellowship required of us to facilitate bringing Peace and Good Will to one another. Regardless of the translation source, I know that I learned, as a young lad, from you, the Elders, Deacons, and Central Church of Christ Members, that we all are given some special abilities... Hopefully in continuing service, John Hale, USN, Retired halegroup@yahoo.com
